On Saturday, October 18, 2025, I’ll be walking in Blood Cancer United ( formally LLS), Light The Night at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater inside Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY.
This beautiful event unites us to: 🕯️ Celebrate survivors with white lanterns 🕯️ Support families with red lanterns 🕯️ Honor loved ones with gold lanterns
I’ve set a minimum personal goal is $1,000—and every dollar counts. My dream is to one day sponsor the Remembrance Tent ($75,000 level), a sacred space to honor those we’ve lost. It all begins one step at a time, one dollar at a time.
Or by scanning the QR code below to give directly.
You can also join our team through the donation page. You don’t have to attend in person—you can support virtually by sharing on social media and helping spread the word. Everything counts.
Personal Reflection
This cause is deeply personal for me. I walk for a family member who is a survivor, for a young adolescent client I once guided who has since passed away, and for the countless children and young adults I’ve seen touched by blood cancers. However my cause is not limited to children—I also walk in honor of the many adults whose lives have been impacted, fought bravely, and in some cases, were cut too short by this disease.
As the Founder & CEO of Miss-U-Gram®, my company’s very foundation rests on our slogan: “Everybody Wants To Be Remembered.” I honor the survivors, I honor the brave young lives, I honor those I knew personally, and I honor those who fought but could not overcome.
And as a Rotarian, I stand in solidarity with the mission of eradicating disease while also honoring those who have transitioned. This is not only a fundraiser—it is a commitment to hope, healing, and legacy.
“A single lantern may light the path, but together our lights can heal the world—one dollar, one step, one act of love at a time.”
