On September 11th, as I watched in fear, I knew Redemption was far from near.
The day was sunny but wasn’t so clear; who could’ve known the black Swan was here.
A moment in time yet never forgotten, and rebuke the men who sure were rotten.
An Awakening has turned yet another season, and redemption time is now a new reason.
Let’s cherish our freedom and not take for granted the brave men and women who made that happen.
May all the victims and frontliners, too, be always remembered forever anew.

Reflecting on September 11th – A New Yorker’s Perspective on Grief, Resilience, and Transformation
September 11th is a day etched in the hearts of Americans, and particularly for those of us who call New York home. The sun shone brightly that morning, but the clarity we usually take for granted was overshadowed by an unimaginable event. The poem I penned, “September 11,” captures a fraction of the emotions that swept over us that day: fear, uncertainty, and a deep yearning for redemption that felt far out of reach.
As a New Yorker, the events of 9/11 are more than just a historical moment; they are personal. I remember the fear and confusion, the way the city I love so much was thrown into chaos. But amidst the terror, there was an undeniable awakening, a realization that even in our darkest hours, there is light to be found. This light is born from the resilience of our spirit, the bravery of our first responders, and the unbreakable bonds of community that formed in the aftermath.
In my work as a certified end-of-life coach and CEO of Miss-U-Gram ®️, I am reminded daily of the power of transformation, how pain, when acknowledged and processed, can be turned into strength. The grief we felt, and continue to feel, for the victims of 9/11 and their families is profound. Yet, it is in remembering them, in honoring their lives, that we find a path forward.
Miss-U-Gram ®️ was born out of a desire to provide a global solution for coping with grief, a way to mourn at the speed of life. This public service application, available on mobile devices and tablets, offers a unique space to transform pain into power. Through the act of memorializing, we create a living tribute that not only honors those we’ve lost but also helps us heal. Whether you choose to keep your sentiments private or share them publicly, the app is designed to be a supportive companion on your journey through grief.
September 11th was a day of great loss, but it was also a day that highlighted the strength of the human spirit. As we remember the victims, the brave first responders, and all who were impacted by that day, let us also embrace the opportunity to transform our pain into something powerful. Miss-U-Gram ®️ encourages this transformation by providing a platform where memories can be cherished, shared, and preserved—turning grief into a force for good.
Let us never take our freedom for granted, and let us always honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their legacy lives on in our hearts and through the actions we take to remember and memorialize them.
In closing, I extend my deepest condolences to all who suffered loss on that day. May the memories of your loved ones be a blessing, and may you find peace in the knowledge that their impact on the world will never be forgotten.
With remembrance and resilience,
