Throughout life, our awareness is often drawn toward the things that catch our attention—our goals, responsibilities, and even the lingering memories of the past. As I often remind you, everybody wants to be remembered. That remembrance naturally points backward, toward our treasure chest of the heart, where we keep the moments no one can take away—the laughter, the celebrations, the tenderness of love.
But today, I want to pivot. Instead of holding onto the past, let us focus on the power of present awareness.
Be Aware of Your Awareness
This may sound unusual, but think of it as Neville Goddard—the renowned philosopher, author, and theologist—once described: thought clouds.
To “pay attention to your paying attention” is not silly—it is a state of awakening. Imagine your thoughts as clouds moving across the sky. Some drift lightly, others storm in heavily, but you always have the choice to notice them. And once you notice, you can choose.
Awareness itself gives you power. It energizes your vibration. It allows you to step into the pilot’s seat instead of being the co-pilot of your own mind. Yes, the winds of circumstance will blow, but when you awaken to your awareness, you can navigate the thought clouds rather than being swept away by them.
