Wouldn’t it be nice for a world of peace?
Wouldn’t it be nice if it was all rainbows and butterflies?
Wouldn’t it be nice if our loved ones never were deceased?
Wouldn’t it be nice if there was no pain?
Wouldn’t it be nice?
Yes, it would be nice.
And yet, truthfully, it’s not realistic in this dual world — where every coin has two sides, where there is no light without darkness. We need both.
Here’s where we can get contemplative: trying to “figure out” the world is an impossible mission. But with imagination, the world can be nice. With imagination, anything can happen. With imagination, everything is possible. And with imagination, we can revisit beautiful memories that can never be taken away.
If your body is compromised, if life’s challenges weigh heavy — as long as you can remember your name, as long as you know who you are — you hold the key to start the engine of your imagination.
Use it. Wisely. Kindly. Fully.
Your imagination can serve you as a sanctuary, a playground, and a healing space. There is research showing its benefits for mind, body, and soul.
So yes, it would be nice.
It can be nice.
And it’s up to you to choose that thought — even when reality says otherwise. Give yourself a break. Allow yourself a moment. Because yes… it would be nice.
Quote of the Day
“Imagination is the passport that can take your soul anywhere, even when your body stays still.” – Patricia D. Freudenberg
Reflection Prompt
Where could your imagination take you today, if you gave yourself full permission to go?
Research Note
In The Biology of Belief, Dr. Bruce Lipton explains that our beliefs and perceptions can directly influence the way our cells function. Positive thoughts and imagination can activate healing responses in the body, while negative beliefs can cause stress and even illness. In other words, the way you choose to think—what you choose to imagine—can have a real effect on your mind, body, and overall well-being.
