Grief Recovery Newsletter

As a Certified End-of-Life Consultant, this message is for you—the reader who is ready to live your legacy in lieu of loss. Grief can feel like it takes the ground out from under you, but the truth is, you still have a choice: the choice to rise, to keep moving, and to live a life to be remembered.
Catch Me If You Can, what does this mean?
Growth requires shedding. In shedding, it may feel like you’re leaving people behind. That’s rarely the intention. It’s simply the nature of moving forward. Sometimes the communities around us will join us, and sometimes they won’t. But the real question is: who’s stopping you? Often, it’s only you.
This phrase is about mindset. It’s about self-talk. It says: “Run for your life, because it is your life.” And in grief, there is only one way to go, upward and onward.
Yes, the phrase can sound fast and furious, but growth doesn’t have to feel like a sprint. It’s not about exhausting yourself, it’s about a moonshot. Shoot for a life where there is no finish line, only new beginnings.
Think of it this way: even a printer needs alignment, even a car needs alignment, and so do we. Sometimes realignment is all it takes to keep moving. If you want to come along, let’s rise together. If you don’t, that’s okay too. You do you. But remember—you always have the choice to keep going.
Closing Thoughts
Don’t be stuck in your life. In grief, there are times when we must start anew—not always, and not in every situation, but staying stuck doesn’t serve. It only holds us in a low vibration, which is not good for the mind, body, or soul. Renewal can take many forms: a new hobby, a new community, a new relationship—or sometimes, it’s not about something new at all. It’s simply about a new you. Embrace it, rise with it, and don’t let anyone stop you.
