A Grief Recovery Newsletter
Written by Patricia D. Freudenberg
Grief is one of life’s deepest challenges. According to research from Stanford University and other studies, grief carries the lowest vibration a human being can experience. On the opposite end of the spectrum, appreciation is among the highest vibrations, alongside love, happiness, joy, and knowledge
Appreciation is not just an emotion; it is a frequency that elevates us. In the concentrated version of yourself, you have the potential to rise from the heaviness of grief to the lightness of appreciation. Is it possible? Yes. Is it probable? That depends on you. You are the captain of your ship.
Concentration and the Internal Walk
Concentration in this context means focusing your attention and mental effort on shifting your state. This isn’t about dehumanizing yourself or pretending not to feel. Life will always bring natural reactions. Just as a reflex test makes your knee jerk or a flashlight causes your eyes to dilate, our bodies are wired to respond physically.
But what I’m speaking of is the internal walk, a choice that lies above reflex. It is the moment of pause, where you move from being reactive to becoming responsive. In that pause, you claim your agency.
The Heart and the Mind in Alignment
Dr. Joe Dispenza, a renowned teacher in neuroscience and quantum mechanics, shows us how the mind and heart, when aligned, create a powerful state of coherence. This alignment generates an epigenetic field, a new response system that allows us to heal, to rewire, and to consciously shape our experience.
In grief recovery, this becomes essential. When the heart and mind agree, appreciation rises, and the concentrated version of yourself begins to emerge. This doesn’t erase your grief. Instead, it transforms your relationship with it, guiding you toward gratitude for love shared and memories cherished.
A Call to Focused Living
The concentrated version of you will require energy, clarity, and consistent choice. But every moment you pause, respond, and align, you open the door to healing and to higher vibrations. This is your concentrated self, responsive, resilient, and rooted in appreciation.
Quote of The Day
“Concentration is the bridge between what we feel and what we choose to create, it turns sorrow into appreciation and pain into possibility.” – Patricia D. Freudenberg
Reflective
Where in your life today can you practice the pause and bring your heart and mind into alignment? Write it down, breathe into it, and allow appreciation to guide you.

Closing Thoughts
In the end, grief does not have to be the final vibration that defines your journey. By choosing to align your heart and your mind, by pausing long enough to respond with intention rather than react out of reflex, you move closer to appreciation, healing, and peace. My encouragement for you today is simple: become the best concentrated version of yourself, because within that concentrated self lies the strength to rise, to love, and to live your legacy.
